The firm has been successful in a number of reported judgements which have contributed significantly to the development of South African Common Law. We pride ourselves on providing focused legal services of a high quality to both private and corporate clients.
We provide legal services in a wide area of commercial contracts and commercial litigation in the High Courts and Magistrates Courts across South Africa, as well as all aspects of family law, including divorce, maintenance, the drafting of parenting plans, ante-nuptial contracts and wills, as well as the registration of family and commercial Trusts. We have a very experienced conveyancer for property transfers, attend to the winding up of deceased estates, provide the full spectrum of labour lawyers near me in Sandton services, as well as extensive experience in all aspects of landlord tenant law, including the drafting of agreements of lease, as well as acting for property brokers in the recovery of estate agent’s commission.
My close friend, who still remains to this day, a loyal and trusted colleague, Stan Orelowitz, invited us to work in his law offices in Palm Grove, Grove City. I consulted with my clients in the boardroom, and Michelle, my secretary, sat at a small desk in an alcove near the boardroom. We had 1 client come in on the first day who needed assistance with a contract with Radio 702!
After a few months, we moved upstairs to a 50m2 office in the same office block. After a short time, I bought a house in Norwood, converted it, and some time later, the 2 neighbouring houses into offices which we call “Law Chambers on The Avenue” where we are still to this day, offering services as a mediation near me and handling cases as lawyers for wills Randburg .
